TAMIYA Japan Torpedo Boat PT-15
Fast Patrol Boat

I built this Boat earlier this year. Its been a long time favourite of mine having made up its Tamiya sister the 'Vosper/Perkasa' several years ago and it was a lovely kit to construct. Had a lot of trouble sourcing the PT-15 but found one on ebay from America at a reasonable price. I found very little information regarding these vessels, as if its almost a 'secret' so made educated guesses on some of the details. There was five such boats in this Class from PT-811 to PT-815, they were replaced in the late 70's by guided missle types.
