P40-N in a paint scheme close to the one exposed at awesome Kalamazoo (MI) Air Zoo museum.
Made it as accurate as I could with commercialy available material.
The pink and blue paint job originate from the paint schemes of some planes used in noth africa in WWII (the upper part were pink sand, but exposure to sun made the pink pigment stand out).
Decals and markings are inspired from the First American Volunteer Group (AVG) of the Republic of China Air Force, nicknamed "Flying Tigers".
See the reel one : airzoo.org/wwii/airplanes-3/p40warhawk
The kit was of great quality.
Decals from DK decals "1:48 Curtiss P-40E Warhawk over the Pacific and China". TBO they were quite a pain to apply.
Paint and washes from Ammo Mig. (exept black and metalic colors, from ICM).
Finished with X22 clear rattle can.
