My Academy 2131 1/48 Su-27 Flanker B model is 17 years old, one of my very first model even before I know models can be painted. Still my top favorite model it displays really nice even with fuselage not painted!.
Luckily, the model is still complete and in good shape. Got broken and fixed several times, and I naively painted the nose white and engines silver. Weapon load is painted in correct white with black fins when I built the model.
Decals are good but the big shark decals started to fall apart and I fixed that partially.
Now I decided to restore the model by painting it all over again and apply brand new decals. I may use some PE.
