It was a fast painting day. Less than two hours painting. Primer here and there 🙂, blue metallic for the body, brown for the seats, a kind of red for the sidepanels and gold for the engine.
I'm not taking all colors from the manual. Some colors free

So... you're a 'paint on the sprue' dude...That's cool! That metallic blue is real nice!

If you paint on the sprue, how do you nip them off without leaving/fixing nip marks?

The parts, that I painted on the sprues have the points to cut them off on "unseen" places. If you see the marks, I paint it with the same color. Of course, some parts I cut off and paint them on clamps, sticks, tape etc.
I nip them with 170688 "special side cutter" from Faller (item # 170688). That works very good.

Decals are done. I painted also the clear coat, began mounting the undercarriage, engine

Hey I wanted to ask, is that blue lacquer paint? Also I'd like to see your painting setup. I enjoy seeing people's workbenches...especially the messy ones! 😎

Hm...the last steps gone very fast. I liked it so much, I made really rare photos...its on the finish line.

And so it is done. Mounted the last parts (rear lamps and clear parts). I thought, the windshield looks naked without a frame.
I like the result. Was a fun built.

The bright gold plate looks great, I like the flashy polished brass look of it, great contrast against the antique blue 😉
