Ahhhh... my favourite Scalextric Formula 1 car back in the day, until I raced it so much the tab holding the brushes on snapped off. Was never the same again. Jacques Laffite was my favourite driver at the time. I seem to remember having a Tamiya kit way back then too.

That Ligier kit is an elusive one. The cheapest I could find was €80 on eBay. And yesterday at the show I found it for €35. A relative bargain. And in good shape by the first look

I love those ideas. As a kid mirage as the race car and sideswipe the Countach were always my favorites.

As for the Ligier, I guess I got pretty lucky on my Ligier kit. Found and won for 30 dollars American on eBay. Must have been no one paying attention that day. I'll consider myself fortunate. Decals are in horrendous shape but I can easily get replacements.
