Tamiya 58618 Monster Beetle (2015) remake !
Tamiya has re-released the well-known Monster Beetle from the 80s

This reissue of the Monster Beetle building set includes a number of updates, while retaining the basic layout of the original 1986 off-road car. It features a realistic, bespoke Beetle body depicted in sturdy polystyrene resin, with metal-clad parts included in the kit to add the finishing touches to the handles and headlight frames. A resin driver figure is the icing on the cake!

Sturdy Space Frame chassis
The rear-wheel drive chassis of this rugged model is based on a durable ABS spaceframe that can withstand all the action on terrain. The four-wheel independent suspension uses CVA oil dampers and has double wishbones at the front and one wishbone at the rear. Excellent cushioning and grip are provided by pin-spike tyres with a diameter of 130 mm and a width of 58 mm on distinctive gold-coloured wheels. Efficient and durable universal shafts come with rubber boots.
