Just a couple of quick observations about the kit, in case someone else is attempting to build this bugger as a machine ready for combat and not as one on a road-march (as depicted in the instructions). The D18's are traversable periscopes, with PE13 being their covers (that hinges on the upper edge, with a rod that should be scratch built to connect to the periscope base). The PE12 sight cover rotates using the small vertical part of the turret as an axle. GP1-4 and 1-3 seem to have a blueish hue, while 1-2 seem reddish. Both front lights are black on newer machines (according to a documentary on the machine I found online), with a simple brush guard (two U-shaped main sections on either side, with thinner cross-members) around them, while the older go with the silver/black combo (convoy/blackout light and the IR? one) and no brush guard. Ah, and in the same documentary, there was a sequence with the smoke dischargers, which activated right to left (on the right-side of the turret), though the programme didn't say if the crew can command which smoke grenades go first, nor if the machine could pop single canisters or not "¯\_(ツ)_/¯ "
