J RRevell P-26A 1/72 OOB Build
I wanted a break from a large project so I decided to do an OOB build of a vintage Revell kit
I bought this kit a long time ago so long ago it cost $5.50 at the time. I find the P-26 a rather ungainly looking aircraft with a great color and marking scheme.
Although some of the parts are separated from the sprues they all seem to me there, my only concern is how well the decals held up, I will spray them with a clear coat before trying to use them.
Its an old mold so we will see how well it goes together.

J RThank you Frank, The instrument panel is actually the decal provided with the kit I was just very careful with alignment and used several coats os setting solution.

J RThanks Villiers it's been a really good build the engineering is very well thought out. Most of the parts fit like a glove, I had only one misalignment with the lower radiator hose but even that was minor. The wire assemblies are also tricky to bend into correct orientations. Mine are not perfect but I am happy with them. Thans for your interest.

J RThank you George no like the frame it is molded in the gull grey stipulated in the instructions I just polished the glue seams most of it will be hidden under the body when complete. I will paint the straps black using a Poscar paint marker.

J RThanks Villers I noticed you have built the 1/12 Fiat which looks great So far the kit has been kind to me. I just cleaned my workspace as it was a mess trying to keep it organized and clean
