After I tracked down a reasonably priced Revell Hurricane Mk.IIb stateside, picked up an Eduard Hurricane Mk.IIb PE set in Belgium & ordered AML's Hawker Hurricane in the USSR - Part II in Poland for it's resin cannons as well markings for a cannon armed Hurricane in Soviet service ... NOW they announce this?! I really could've saved some money!
Ah well, such is life. I'd rather do an RAF Mk.IId so I'll wait for this release. I'll probably use this kit to build a Soviet Mk.IIb & once I get a hold of an Arma Hobby Mk.IIb I'll do that one up as a Maltese night fighter. I always thought that Hurricanes in all black with red stencils/lettering were wicked looking.
