Cristian AThanks Michael for the input, the more I look at the two Tamiya colors the more inclined I get to use them, also I already have them and they are of good quality.

Cristian AHi Shar, the details are good enough for a 16 EUR kit but the build is not easy, struggled a lot with the canopy and cockpit. It's not a perfect representation of the real Alligator as it is built after the initial variant / prototype (EOP above, no camouflage scheme and paint references for it, no countermeasure system under the back landing gear and the nose is a bit different as well). The panel lines are recessed, so hopefully weathering will go smooth.

Cristian AHi Shar, around 40% paint + 60% thinner. I measure it in pipette drops - example 4 drops of paint, 6 drops of thinner.

Will DosselI use it as a final step before priming to polish out tiny scratches. Also use it on clear parts - I think it gives a more realistic shine to clear parts than Pledge floor wax. First found out about it when I had to polish out a canopy that required a good bit of sanding.

Thomas KolbWhat an absolute beast! Really beautiful. I will definitely look into the Novus scratch remover set. Does it leave some kind of residue on the plastic (like the Tamiya polishing compounds)?

Will DosselThomas - easily cleaned with a lightly dampened cotton ear bud - I use the anti-static/dust/fog prep from the blue bottle as a final for the canopies. Overall, this process leaves a finish better and more natural looking than what I've seen from dipping in Future.

Cristian AExcellent project, watching. The Argentine Étendard aircraft were effective in causing significant damage during the Falklands/Malvinas conflict.
