Refreshing to see a F-18 not weatherd to heck. Looks great! How is the Meng kit to build?

Thanks! The build was okay. Some major sanding was required around the nose below the windshield, as you can still see that awkward little step in picture 1 and 2. The intakes didn't fit that great, and the back of the fuselage needed some more sanding. But these were the only problems I encountered and the rest was good. Aside from the build, I would say this kit needs quite a few aftermarket sets to look good, especially with the nozzles and decals.

Stunning build 👍 and very nice pictures...you know the drill 😉!
I just finished the same F/A-18E Super Hornet from MENG, and I have had no problems at all with the fitting. It's a beautiful shake-and-bake kit to build.

Good morning aviators!
This was probably the first time I spent so much money on aftermarket sets. The result was okay I guess. The loadout for this build was taken from the first training scene, with only two main pylons and a centerline tank. Photos were taken with Canon G7X and edited with Adobe Lightroom. Happy training!
