Today was the day of the nicest part of making a model, give the car it's paintjob. To me, this is a important part, it gives the car his appeal and starts to look like the finished car. I just love to do it.

Update Januari 3rd: I put the clearcoat on the car, and I am happy with it. Just need to polish out 3 dust particles, but that is it.

New update: Body is foiled, (and polished where needed) interior is flocked and additional detail has been done in and on the Engine.

A little update, I changed the way how the interior had to get into the car and added some more detail in the interior and enginebay

Yeah, baby! My first car was a '59 Chevy Impala convertible (bought in 1971). Mine was red/white with a white vinyl interior. It also had the "thunderskirts" over the rear wheels, and dual radio antennae mounted on the top of the rear fenders and angled back. What a car! If I still had it, it would probably be worth some money! Your model brings back some nice memories for me!

Thanks guys! @Bill: you lucky SOTB! haha, I wished I had such luck. And I guess you would be right, a nice condition Impala convertible does do a few bucks nowadays.
@Aghis; thank you, and I can't wait either haha

I was lucky, but I didn't know it at the time! I paid $895 for it, which my Dad thought was outrageous because it had some rust on it. Jeez...
