What can I say, another great looking diorama in the making... again full of inspiring images and styrene wonders 😉

Another project still on the workbench, HMS Trafalger. All the parts got a coat of paint and are ready for a weathering and highlighting now. My Diorama projects were on hold until last month because I got new bases for my displays. Now I use a wooden frame with a insert made from MDF (particle board) coated with a thin plastic layer. I arranged the parts finally to prepare working on the water base. Note the subs scratch build hatch. It is a bit of guess work and looks a little bit like a toilet lid 😉

Hi Duncan, thanx for looking at it. The kit is nice and easy to build. The only thing I missed is the tiled surface structure. At first I thought to angrave or to paint the structure, but than I left it like it is because you can't see it from a normal distance.

Hi, @Duncan, the new Airfix kits aren't bad ones. They lack a bit in detail but they are not bad. I really like Airfix 1/48 scale Supermarine Seafire Mk 46 / 47! @Steve, you're welocme 😉 Cheers, Christian

Album info
I have build the main parts for a while and did some paint work from time to time during the last weeks. At the moment I?m working on small details and the Jetty. I used styrene and Tom's Modelwork PE "US Carrier Catwalks" to build the gangways. The PE grid for the Jetty in the center is from L'Arsenal
