The scouts are back! (Finnish cavalry)
First sketch.
Second sketch.
Finnish traffic signs at the bridge. Designed according to the originals (liikennemerkki).
First sitting test on the horses (Dragon, Tamiya)
Headless, armless, earless.
After and before: Right leg of a German Cossack (Dragon) and left leg transformed into a finnish cavalryman
NCO (left) and cavalryman (right). Both are from the kit German Cavalry Division (Dragon #6046).
Officer with a new head from The Bodi. The body is a German Cossack (Dragon). More carving is necessary.
Mounted infantryman (Tamiya) + new head (The Bodi) = finnish cavalryman. The belt buckle has to be removed.
Cavalryman: torso of Cossack 2 + head of Cossack 1 (Dragon) + legs, which have to be carved (Tamiya, mounted infantry) + Helmet (?),

Using a fine saw - the beginning of a metamorphosis. German mounted infantry (Tamiya). New Helmet or new head? I've bought Italian heads with M33-Helmet (Hornet).

The last horse in piglet pink (Livestock II, Tamiya). It will be used as a pack animal. The carrying frame has to be homemade using information to the reindeer (ICM) and a field manual "Use of pack animals".
There is something to change about the Tamiya horse. Finnish military saddles had no saddle horn. Seen on a picture of an online auction.
Reality is always the best template. Lutto 16.7.1942

Thank you for all the likes and the comment. The horses will be the next paintjob probably. Now they are ten. 9+1. No. 10 is a pack animal, a pink(!) horse made by Tamiya. Every little girl would be happy. I think it will get some reddish black-brown colour ...
