Started with the left side, new to decaling and not my strength to be honest.
Made some mistakes and the Torrid Tessie broke….

Getting better on the second day, need to make sure to use the ammo decal set twice and dry it, then only use a little for the decal fix at the end, otherwise it will peel the decal.no.3 broke unfortunately
Trying to get a new set to correct both issues now 🙂

My first airbrush set arrived, Harder & Steenbeck ULTRA 2024 wit a 0.45mm needle kit.
Love it and applying two varnish coats after decaling now

Seems the Orginal planes did not look too shiny during war times…
Heavy weathering on the bottom part due to many mistakes to cover up 😂 but was thankful it still was manageable for a a my first scale model build.

I think it looks good Stephan. 👍 I misted a very light coat of matte varnish on to my F-84 and I think it replicates fairly well the dull, but not too dull, aluminum of an aircraft in service.
