The bent grille and offroad light show that this old girl has been used. Woops! and the hole above the windshield where I was scribing and got a little carried away. It's a rust hole now.
The antennas are custom made from sprues and the base of the antenna on the bed cap is from the 88 Mustang GT kit from AMT as well as the CB radio unit in the interior as shown in the next picture. Bed cap fitment is not ideal but it's an old AMT kit.
I little trick I use for dirt in the interior is get a clod of dirt and grind it up real fine. Then, put some Isopropyl Alcohol on the end of your brush and dip it in the dirt. Use the brush to apply and use your fingers and the brush to move it around and embed it.
The Holley decal did not show up good on the tinted windows.

I had lots of fun building this kit. The quality is what you would expect from a old AMT reboxed kit. Some flash fitment issues (especially the bed cap was very warped and even heat couldn't get it back to the desired shape. I went with an used optioned out offroader/ daily driver look. The rust came out very nice and I used a lot of my spare parts from other kits:
- Bull bar lights from MPC Deserter kit
- light inside of bull bar lights from AMT mack kit
- CB radio unit and antenna from AMT 88 Mustang kit ( I cut off the end of the antenna and replaced it with my own custom antenna)
s
- Smaller front tires from Revell Bronco kit
And a lot of decals from other kits
Would recommend kit for amateur modelers. As always it's a hobby, have fun, take your time and God Bless!
