To add detail to cockpit I used the new "Real Colors Markers" they work well with great coverage and so far the "brush" tip makes the job easy and natural

Cheers for coments peeps, as I said the tips of the markers do all the work but not having too much coffee before also helps 😁

The instruction in step 16 confused me for awhile. I got the cutout bit (seams the large extra fuel tanks interfered with the flaps!) but it took some time to workout the fill instructions.
It's only when you put the newly clipped flaps on you see the gap left on the wing, creating too much drag and the fill becomes obvious 🤪

Good to see another of your projects Sy!
These markers look interesting, can you write something more? Are these acrylic paint? Can you do the washing afterwards?
Ps. Lucky you, dunno why these kits are so hard to get.

Thanks for the kind comments
#Gliński I believe the pens are an acrylic by AK ineteractive, they go down really well on primed and unprimed plastic. You can once dry, which they do very quickly, you can use washes oils and enamel thinners.
Here's a YouTube by Ak about there use Youtube Video

I struggled to find a good white paint that had strong pigment n didn't need loads of coats, l tried different brands...Velejo, Mig, eventually l got AK Intense white " Amazing" 2x light coats n a brilliant strong white finish.
Im finding my Velejo yellow is bit poor in coverage.... So lve just ordered the Ak intense yellow, it's great paint and goes a long way as it's thick and can be thinned down alot. Recommend paint.

This is done and it's a great kit, apart from the fiddly drop tank braces I couldn't get them to work properly but that's almost certainly down to me. Also there are a few lumps and aerial which are supposed to go on top of wing around the roundels, I missed these off as the roundels would have been tricky to lay over them and I then misplaced them luckily I had not put the holes in the wings either so it was ment to be 🤪
The detail is great for this scale with the wheel wells looking excellent, the cockpit is good too although you can see much of it and I suppect it's true even if you put the canopy open. Another great work on this kit are the decals not too thick but I love the way they added dotted lines to the wheel doors decals. As they are one piece wheel up is easy and it's a breeze to cut along indications and get the right piece for right door section, just keep an eye on what goes where.

Cheers for the comments. Really enjoyed this kit and was pleased the paint job scheme came out so well. Can believe the value of this kit at approx $7USD a steal
