Lorraine LinYes George, Modeling is a relative minority hobby here in China. Comparing to military model or civil model, Anime and manga model is more popular, like GUNDAM or Garage kits. But I do see more and more new brands and new products, and more young molders.

Lorraine Lin@Erik, Indeed, the history of models in China is not long. In the late 1990s, Matchbox and Bandai established joint venture companies in China and introduced model kit products into the country. Therefore, most model enthusiasts in China are under 40 years old.
And picture 269 is from National Youth Model Championship which is organized by the government. Actually this Shanghai New year model contest also sponsored by the government since year 2006.

Lorraine Lin@Erik, I don't have any more background about pic 248, but I just updated two more photos (346 & 347). For figure group, personally I like pic 301 most, thr handsome soldier☺️
