What's in the box
![Album image #2 Album image #2](/albums/img/0/2/9/53029-12818-58-720.jpg)
What's in the plastic
![Album image #3 Album image #3](/albums/img/0/3/0/53030-12818-24-720.jpg)
Primed and pre-shade wash
![Album image #4 Album image #4](/albums/img/0/3/1/53031-12818-20-pristine.jpg)
Body glued together
![Album image #5 Album image #5](/albums/img/0/3/2/53032-12818-17-720.jpg)
Looks good so far...
![Album image #6 Album image #6](/albums/img/0/3/3/53033-12818-56-720.jpg)
And the other side.
![Album image #7 Album image #7](/albums/img/0/3/4/53034-12818-64-720.jpg)
First coat of white, and let's be honest:
![Album image #8 Album image #8](/albums/img/0/3/5/53035-12818-96-720.jpg)
This looks terrible with no hope of improvement with a second coat.
![Album image #9 Album image #9](/albums/img/0/3/6/53036-12818-11-pristine.jpg)
So I removed all the paint with Windex. "Use in well ventilated area." Surely a small kitchen counts as such?
![Album image #10 Album image #10](/albums/img/0/3/7/53037-12818-14-720.jpg)
Second try, white coat of paint. This looks a lot better. Those darn panel lines can forget about a darker shade!
![Album image #11 Album image #11](/albums/img/0/3/8/53038-12818-92-720.jpg)
Mask and paint. See the photo for the difference between Vallejo and Revell Aqua paint.
![Album image #12 Album image #12](/albums/img/0/3/9/53039-12818-55-720.jpg)
Revell paint is much thinner, and thus seeps through the cracks a lot more.
![Album image #13 Album image #13](/albums/img/0/4/4/53044-12818-17-720.jpg)
Revell Aqua paint: They don't lie, there's a lot of aqua in their paint!
![Album image #14 Album image #14](/albums/img/0/4/5/53045-12818-51-720.jpg)
Touched up the white paint and added decals.
![Album image #15 Album image #15](/albums/img/0/4/6/53046-12818-83-720.jpg)
The other side with decals.
![Album image #16 Album image #16](/albums/img/0/4/7/53047-12818-74-720.jpg)
And the end result: Eternal lift-off. I forget to add a weight in the nose. There was no mention of this in the manual, either.
![Album image #17 Album image #17](/albums/img/0/4/8/53048-12818-51-720.jpg)
Top of the plane.
![Album image #18 Album image #18](/albums/img/0/4/9/53049-12818-40-720.jpg)
Bottom of the plane.
![Album image #19 Album image #19](/albums/img/0/5/0/53050-12818-38-720.jpg)
And a side shot. Later on I'll try to make a scenery for this model, so that I can glue the front wheel on the ground.

First completed project on ScaleMates for me. I'm glad to discover that my skills haven't completely disappeared since I was young.
