LAV-25
![Album image #1 Album image #1](/albums/img/3/2/2/88322-12716-56-720.jpg)
Semper Fi!
![Album image #2 Album image #2](/albums/img/6/6/5/88665-12716-75-720.jpg)
Suspension done.
![Album image #3 Album image #3](/albums/img/6/6/6/88666-12716-68-pristine.jpg)
An interior (at least toward the back) is included in the kit.
![Album image #4 Album image #4](/albums/img/6/6/7/88667-12716-68-720.jpg)
The Eduard photo-etch adds to the insides.
![Album image #5 Album image #5](/albums/img/7/3/4/88734-12716-53-720.jpg)
Interior painted, weathered, and a little wall put in.
![Album image #6 Album image #6](/albums/img/7/3/5/88735-12716-29-pristine.jpg)
Working by trial and error, I was able to fit a photo of an AFV interior as a backdrop for the kit's interior.
![Album image #7 Album image #7](/albums/img/7/3/6/88736-12716-35-pristine.jpg)
Putting the top of the LAV on, it looks like the background picture idea worked to my satisfaction.
![Album image #8 Album image #8](/albums/img/8/7/6/88876-12716-39-720.jpg)
Added a small strip of plastic along the entire length of the side body to simulate the overhang of the armor plate (arrow), as seen on older LAVs. This was blended-in to the side with putty and sanded smooth.
![Album image #9 Album image #9](/albums/img/8/7/7/88877-12716-82-720.jpg)
The right side turret bulge looks too small to me.
![Album image #10 Album image #10](/albums/img/8/7/8/88878-12716-24-720.jpg)
Re-made the turret bulge with plastic sheet and added the weld beads with stretched sprue.
![Album image #11 Album image #11](/albums/img/2/9/7/90297-12716-80-pristine.jpg)
Neither the kit nor the Eduard photo-etch provide interior door hinges. These were carved from plastic sheet.
![Album image #12 Album image #12](/albums/img/2/9/8/90298-12716-20-720.jpg)
The kit's outer hinges were too large and not aligned well. They were removed and new outer hinges added, along with door stops.

Airbrushed medium green as a base.

It took all day, but added the camo by hand.
