Phil, you must have a very impressive collection of fighter planes. 👍👍👍 Any chance to see a photo of a line-up? 🙂

I have nearly all USAAF that actually got off paper and into air from P-35. To P-86 in some stage except the XP-60 family of misfits. Like a real Air Force or museum, not all are on the ready board at any one time. I ll try a P-40 family line-up and post here in a few days.

That's what I surmised! 🙂 Your kits inspired me to take Lloyd Jone's 'US Fighters' from the shelf an re-read it 😄

That's a handy book. If these albums brought you back to the history then I m pleased that you are pleased...if I 'm conveying this right. Enjoy...and thanks.

Album info

This kit chin lends itself to this adaptation and over the decades I ve seen a few builders make the change. Simple wings and gear and canopy a bit round at windshield. Stil in all something right about it and some dressing could still be a cheap, quick way to a short F.
