Hi Jan. Had the same problems with the tracks, so I changed mine with Trumpeter TK 12. Otherwise the Zvezda kit is not bad for the price. So let your skilz coming!

Oh btw I made the tracks sag by using sewing pins. A method I found in some forum. Cut the head off, heat till it glows and press through the hull. With small pliers of course 🙂

A layer of dust (pigments) on top of the fenders will look fine. Your white identification band looks very cool!
Without the risk of burning your fingers, you can drill the holes in the hull and then secure the sewing pin with superglue.

Tnx for the tip Dieter! Now why didn't I think of that? The band was done with hairspray technique. I also like how that turned out🙂

Album info
Kit was cheap and is an easy build. Comes with rubber tracks which are a nightmare. Paint won't hold, can't glue in place with superglue to create sag. Base color is on. Time to practise my weathering skilz.
