The church window and fountain kit went together in about ten minutes...wish I could say that for the rest of my kits! Still pretty good little kits after all these years - in fact the Italeri line of diorama accesory ruins is a styrene "re box" of Verlinden's plaster offerings, back when he had a very close relationship with Italeri. or Italaeri as it was known back then!

That leopard is a great kit compared to the hobbyboss one.

I like the Hetzer commander crouching on the outside...guess he's ready to jump if they miss? 😛

He would not be a good or brave commander if he do that. 🙂 I had that kit (from ebay) but I sold it when I saw the semi link track I got a trumpeter starr version instead.

I cleaned up all the road signs and removed a bunch of pin marks and seams....added some small details for enhancement. I added some compressed styrofoam in the oil drums to make them look like they are filled with concrete. Oddly enough the sign is the wrong way round for the assigned decals - I had to chop it and put it back on the correct way!

any progress on the hetzer?

well. I opened the sprue bags and chose the decals, ha ha! In all seriousness I bought it because it was half price. The figures are quite good, albeit a little small. Detail is nice, no flash, the link and length tracks look good but I fear will not have the needed sag. I have a destroyed Kirin Grille so I may salvage those links. I hope to build it soon..about halfway through my SdkFz 251/9 dio and then probably onto this. It looks like an easy build (jinx!) - not too many sprues, and flash free parts. If the Kirin links don't work I will use them as extra armour 😉

..oh, and it comes with a really neat adhesive mask for the ambush scheme! How cool is that? 🙂

Holger - lol, yes...although I can't speak to it's accuracy! Rascar, as for colours - either dark yellow or ambush colours if I am brave enough to tackle that paint mask! It's very um.."involved"! o_0

Hi Julian, the Academy kit is a good choice. You need no aftermarket stuff... The tracks fit very well and the masks are very good too. And it's not difficult! Have a look on my JgdPz. 🙂
