Choog choog choog, here comes a StuG, and I love em.👍 🙂
You have won me over already with the tracks looking like they have been along many a city street, with that metal 'gleam' shining through on the teeth of the drive wheels and on each one of the track lugs.
This will be a most interesting project to watch. Cheers, 👍 🙂

Thank you Kerry.
This is part of an artillery group build in a german forum. Several mates have offered to give to the german children's cancer support charity if a certain amount of models is finished before the deadline so I have to hurry up a little bit.
I won this kit in tombola (not being the classic military modeller) and although it shows some of it's age it is nice to build.
I played around with pigments and special acrylic binder (kind of making my own dirt instead of buying the MiG stuff).
The tracks are a pain in the a** as you have to grind each single segment in order to get rid of the ejection marks. The metallic shine is drybrushed revell aqua color iron
Cheers,
Marc

How wonderful that venture is mate. 👍. Kids are turning up with cancer where it was unheard of 20 years ago. I wonder what we have done to our earth to reap these ills. :-/
The StuG really was the 'APC' of the German military hey. ! I have seen so many versions, but like the Minni, the shape was always the same, with just a few bits added on. 🙂
What you have done with yours looks quite remarkable, as I have not seen many in just the grey, and it is a relief to do so. 🙂
What more will happen to it Marc. ?

@Kerry: Here in Germany a lot of scale modellers link to this charity organization which is a nice thing.
@Holger:I did a Panzer IV C dragon kit 7 yrs ago ... and refrained from it as I hated the assembly of the tracks ...
I did three others as well but never really got the to love it in such a way that I got stuck.
The outlook for dioramas actually is the best aspect. Ship or aircraft modelling does not allow this same degree of freedom than the military modelling.
I am going to try a few things here ... who knows.

I totally agree with you. I like to build everything but in military you have the most possibilitys to create YOUR world.😢

Nice project, I really like the short gun stug's and the own pigments work in that undercarriage 👍. I will follow closely, I've also the kit in my stash...😢

The Stug alone is now done. I will add all the luggage and equipment in the next step plus the soldier hiding on the back.

Nice finish one that one, Mark.
The kit is a bit of a dog, isn´t it? As Dragon is using the same moulds for their Stug A and B, there are a number of details "not quite right" for either of those versions. Anyway, apart from expert level rivet counting, you might have missed the position marks for the escape hatches on the lower hull. They should have been removed (before painting, obiously.😉 )
