I have always underestimated just how beautiful these 1/72 kits can look, but in the right hands, it's a totally different story.🙂
I have changed my mind and I must give it a go.
Beautiful work Mike. 🙂 👍

Hey Mike, excellent work. I bought one too last year in Telford and was impressed by the first look. But devil is in detail, there is some work to do on that kit to get a good result. Do you know if they have some new kits this year?
@Kerry my friend, this is scale onefourfour, just half the size😉

Christian, I will see what they have, they did say they would make some British versions. Watch out for the intake splitters, they are too low, and the nose wheel is too far back. But with some work it is still a nice kit, I can do some shopping with them if they have something new if you wish?

Album info
The Whirlybirds resin kit of VF-31 Phantom F-4J in 1/144. It went together ok with a bit of perseverance but taught me a valuable lesson, to check references. There are a couple of accuracy issues with the kit that I failed to pick up on, but overall it has resulted in a fairly nice model.
