Ok all the main parts are done - engine in frame, swingarm and back wheel on, exhaust done, front end built up right side view

I thought i did not to bad a job of the detailing on the speedo binnacle
just showing some of the exhaust detail and chain and sprockets
hand painted wee red spring on the rear shocki
tried my hand at dry brushing the "Nissin" on the front caliper pots
and again rear caliper "Nissin" dry brushed, I do hate the seam lines on the chrome exhaust parts though
you can even see the rear brake master clinder reservior through the rear cowling - I love detail like this

Thomas Bischoff👍 - years and years ago I was sitting on the real thing for a test drive but wouldnt swap with my CBR900RR.
Is it really brush painted?

Terry Wrightapart from the gun metal body panels which I did with tamiya's Ts gun metal grey rattle tin everything else is hand painted, I have just purchased an airbrush and waiting to see if santa brings me my compressor

Thomas Bischoffwell done I must say! Do not save on the compressor, I have bought some time ago the Revell Master Class compressor after my starter model quit service and wouldnt switch back.

Terry WrightThanks very much for the compliment, santa is getting me just a cheapish as186 with tank to start me off I think it was 60 quid with two free airbrushes, I wouldn't have anything to do with revell products if i can help it

BUILD COMPLETE - the Super Blackbird, another cracking kit from Tamiya and delighted with the build, all hand painted using Tamyia Acrylics and TS Gun metal grey.
About my 4th kit build from Tamiya and one of my favourite builds so far (nice easy decals)
This kit has an RRP of around £25.00
apologies - I never caught the start of this build so were catching this build really far on.
