Out of sheer curiosity I will be following this. For a thirty year old piece of work it looks pretty neat. 200+ on evilbay, nice!

Hi lads. Yes, check it out on Google as there are some (maybe) still around, but I am totally engrossed in a couple of Eduard bare bones 1/48 kits sent to me by Vegard some time back, and the detail I just can't put down. 👍
A Mig bunny fighter and Fw-190. 🙂
The detail on the engine was really rough, as it was the very first time I had ever done what we all call now, 'extra detail'. 🙂 and there might be some 'updating 'of what is there.👍
Cheers. 👍

seems like a decent kit for its age... good luck finishing this one...

Thank gent's. 🙂
I am still working on the Eduard kits and about 3 others as well (as we do) LOL 👍
The Decal sheet for this is just SOoooooooooooooo brittle. But hopefully all will be ok with a coat of Liquid decal film that should prevent them from shattering. 🙂

Excellent detail on the engine Kerry! I remember having the Monogram Mustang in clear when I was a kid.

Gordon. !! I bought one of the "Phantom Mustang's when it was first re released in 95', going through those fantastic memories and all those wonderful innovations of motors and wiring and gears. :-O :-O :-O
I had considered some years ago of establishing a "Stash" of kits, but I am glad I didn't as all the decals of the kits I never built (only a couple) are now cactus, totally unusable, and getting replacements sometimes proves quite difficult or very expensive. 🙁
I am always being distracted by other projects now, as the profuse number of after market detail items makes it do much more an adventure to tackle and complete.
Right now I am working up a 1/35 diorama of a WWII post invasion road convoy, "Red Ball Express" theme. lots of goodies and detail that will keep me very busy for a good while.
Taking heaps of pics and will, when finished, I will post here. 👍
BTW. I love your albums too mate, some spectacular work there for sure, but I hope that work bench is well attached to the wall. ??? LOL 🙂
Album info
1984 Hasegawa started producing the "High Grade Kits" In 1/32 Scale. The packaging was in a white box and no 'Box Art".
This particular kit was moulded in clear plastic with white metal landing struts, rubber tyres, PE instrument panel and some lengths of vinyl tubing. I bought this kit in 1985 for $35.00, but in todays money, on evilbay, the asking price is $200.00 + other kits in this scale by Hasegawa from the late 80's are.are.
