The Marder
Hull & turret ready and primed.
I used almost all of the Extratech PE on this, however I left some rails because the flatness of the PE was no better than the plastic.
Some PE, some original railguards. I didn't want to spend too much time soldiering wire, they look good as they do.
Again: I left the kit's lamp guard because it has in my opinon better dimensions. I replaced the blinkers (I suppose) and mirrors.
Some turret details. It's a little shame that nobody does the metal barrel in 1:72.
Side skirts, tow cables and Link & length tracks. I preassembled the curves and hope it will all come together...
MILAN launcher (a real pearl and great Revell engineering in this scale) and the MG.
Yes, I did replaced the MG's plastic, rather fat and ugly barrel with a metal one.
The Marder is finished (some time ago).
I'm quite happy with the overall result, the tracks were - as usual - a little pain to assemble correctly.
I didn't weather it much, mostly due to the scale. It's quite dark anyway.
Although there is no main gun barrel replacement, it still looks surprisingly well.

Thank you all very much 🙂 I must say, I like those Revell 1:72 models, because they pack quite an impressive set of details for the scale - even without the PE parts.

Really nice! And I agree with you, when it comes to 1/72 scale Bundeswehr vehicles, Revell is unbeatable.
