Album info
Latrun is located near Jerusalem and can be easily reached by Bus from there. Once a British fort and police station, it was place of several battles in the Arab–Israeli War in 1948, but was first captured by Israel during the Six-Day War (1967). Nowadays it's a memorial for the Israeli tank corps and houses a diverse tank collection.
A few notes:
A lot of the descriptions/plaques were missing, meaning there were plaques on some 30 vehicles, leaving an estimated 100-200 without it.
I'll try to add more photos the following days and put a few walkarounds together (the Merkavas, some Tirans and the Panzer IV & the Stug)
