Very nice painting job. Some pieces are from scratch? Where are the decals from? Congratulations!

Thanks guys. @Cuajete : I'added some little pipes around the fuselage, some cowl hinges and that's about it. The system to hold the rotor blades folded, comes from Scalewarship. If you intend to build this kit, please don't use the original decals provided with this kit. They are badly oversized and some of them are missing. I'dont know if some alternative exist, but it would be probably more relevant...

Love a Fleet Air Arm model and this looks great. Well done. I have this in my stash and those Scalewarship extras look good.

Merci Ronan, Thanks Erik.
J'ai utilisé de la peinture Gunze H56 pour le bleu et un mélange (50/50 environ) de rouge et de orange.
Ceci pour la base, avec ensuite des nuances plus claires ou plus sombres, selon les panneaux.
Merci Ronan, Thanks Erik.

its a cracker, I used the same fold kit on the HAS.1 I also have that version to complete. What brand of paint colour red did you use?

Thanks Didier, it looks just right and red is sometimes the most difficult to get right

Hi guys,
This is my interpretation of the Italeri Wessex UH.5 (1/48).
The kit is ok, and the fittings are correct. However, the stencils are awful... there are mainly oversized and some of them are even missing. I'strongly recommend people to buy an alternative decals sheet, if they find one.
The system to hold the rotor blades folded, comes from Scalewarship.
Albeit being really touchy to build, it's very thin and detailed (nice 3D printed parts..), giving (I'hope...) a realistic look to the kit.
Hope you like it.
Thanks for looking.
