This is just for the archival purposes. There were so many things that went wrong so that this became a experimental build.
I picked this to test my basic modeling skills. The fir on this is not the best. but it is manageable and it will test the basic building skill quite well. A lot of dry fitting and it builds nicely.
First, the cockpit was rebuilt after I found a nice thread on Large Scale Planes. I did not go the extra miles like the guys there. Then, all went okay. I black based the model, sprayed the underside. Then The dark grey did not turn so dark, it looked more light the light grey and the light turned greenish. I used the formula recommend scalewiki.ru. They said mix AMT-6 (black green) with AMT-7. The green from AMT-6 just showed up. But I found a reference picture from a museum, with colors that looked like mine, so I rolled with it. If I build another Russian plane in this camo, I am not going to do this again...
