After the first build, I learned by my mistakes and this time around, I will make amends. Here the distributors have been drilled ready for the ignition leads.

Album image #3
This mob Fujumi, really have done their homework on the detaiil side of things, and you can't help but compliment their hard work by doing some of your own.

Album image #5
The 'bases' of the fantastic 'Weber' carbys, brass/bronze really, but gold for this build. 🙂

Album image #7
six ignition leads and one for the coil.

Album image #8
The silver 'dust' is from the AK Interactive wax paint I love to use to highlight the silver tops on all the nut heads, and will be brused away with the clean up after drying.

The first attempt. Rough and uneven surface and ends. Not happy, so do it again. :-O

Album image #11
Just a bit of an improvement, but more what I was aiming for, but not exactly what I will be happy with..

Album image #12
THIS. Is exactly what I was aiming for. No rough edges and the smooth face on all chrome surfaces.

Album image #13
After carefully trimming away all the clear film 'carrier', the decals just dropped in perfectly, to be then seald in place with my favorite clear glue that helps create the glass faces on the gauges.

Album image #14
Just for the light effect to show that 'glass'.

Album image #15
Album image #16
Up close. There are tiny imperfections, but after trying umpteen dozen times to get it right, these I can live with. Having seen the beginnings, you would too.

Now I am finished the chrom window trim, it's now the time to add all the chrome 'bright work'. And some of these pieces are 1/4 the size of a small match head.

Album image #20
Just some of the choice I have in the way of 'racing' trim

Album image #21
Bottom right, two chrome discs, they are the air horns. Red on the fire wall, two ignition coils, with mounting brackets.(scratch built).

Album image #22
My world. My joy. My pain. I hope you like my work. 🙂

Album image #23
Both FINISHED.

Album image #24
The bonnet on this one can be raised or lowered too.

Glad you like it. All part of the intense research I have been doing to get this kit to look like what it really looks like. I hope you check the other images too mate. 👍

I get up in the morning and check my notifications and then have a casual look through the "News" to find ... KERRY! Ease up and go for a walk and look at the bikinis on the beach! Yeah it looks good, no, fantastic but there are other fantastic things to look at 100 metres away. Have a rest will ya? You've built four beautiful cars in the time I've taken to sand a fuel tank!

Just how much did you have to magnify that image to tell me that. As THAT was how the instruction numbering system said it should go together, and it is the same on the first kit too, and who am I to argue with that. ? Mmmmmmmm 🙁 Bloody rivet counters shit me.

Besides. Nothing else would have fitted if it was with the Ferrari up the right way. With the alternator and water pump shafts located in conjunction with the cams.

Gents. 🙂 Thank you so much for your wonderful comments and hopes for the comp. I am happy, though I can still see faults with some aspects. But that's our nature yeah. ? 🙂 👍

Great built! The Dashboard Looks good with the "glas" on it. I used to use "weißleim" (PVA glue?). It dries clear but the survace is concave.

The 'clear' is also called 'clear fix', made by humbrol, but dries badly, loosing that nice smooth surface. But thank you for the 👍. 🙂

Album info

The second of my Fujumi Ferrari 250GTO's is to look like the ones that were mostly privately raced. No change to the overall 'appearance' of the classic unit, other than the numbers and some sponsors stickers. The same detail has been done under the hood, such as the distributors and the ignition coils and heater hoses from the radiator to the cabin heater.
