That F-16 canopy trick does look nice. Presumably it would be necessary to sand the thin surface on the inside of the canopy hole to best make the plastic flush with the vac canopy.

Very nice tutorial, but I never glued the vacu canopy this way. Have I been wrong too? 🙂

You mean those new 'solid models' made out of polystyrene? One has to be very careful though to not ooze out the cement! 😮 Cool that nowadays that's considered a way to actually fill seams. 😉

Great article! 👍 @picture next to headline - I´ll put that on the fridge so my wife & kids realize I´m spending hours at the workbench creating attractive modern ornaments! That should teach them...! (I just hope they don´t find out and complain about the fussy details though... 😄)
