My best friend has a 1:1 1975 Corvette in the bright lime green metallic. I bought the model for him and will build it with in the next 10-20 builds.

Ahh that looks the nuts! I love all that customising artwork on the box, very cool indeed.
Those sidepipes & slot mags are a must!

My oldest brother had back in 1982 a '73 Roadster with the Eckler's front nose and L88 hood, I bought a MPC #1-7306-225 1973 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible and the AMT #3102 Chevrolet Eckler's Corvette Hatchback kit's to build a replica of his car (That was in December of 2017). I compared the two of them, but never started either of them.

I hear you. It took me 2-3 years to finally start his brown 72 Chevelle I am building now. 1972 Heavy Chevy Chevelle 454 | Album by musclecarfan (1:25)

Hi Bill, I like your Chevelle, I have a couple of '70's built myself (Monogram and a MPC) somewhere in this house.

I like the MPC/AMT version. The Monogram looks a little too squarish At the headlights to bumper transition.

Monogram's kits have a better looking engine bay & suspension, But the MPC/AMT does look better overall.
