Superb build Michael. I'm sure you will inspire many people to go out and buy this kit.

As always Michael, your builds are a pleasure to follow - both the process & the result. You really captured the Sea Flanker spirit through fine details, with the camo/weathering job, which is just 100% spot on, and the extended flaps orchestra at the back of the wings 👍
I really like that you kept the wings down, never was a big fan of the "zipped" optics of this plane - I find the full silhouette & the mentioned flaps a much better choice!
All the best wishes & keep them coming!😉 👍

Thanks Nathan, Soeren, Slavo, and Neuling! I appreciate the kind words!
Slavo, I am really stoked that you approve! I tried to nail down the weathering without being over the top, so I kept it rather conservative as to not distract from the awesome camo, but at the same time I wanted there to be enough to not allow the unique camo to dominate the model completely. I am glad to hear you feel as though I was successful in that endeavor!
Aaaaaaaaaand.... I won first place in the theme contest (I have the Blues) yesterday at my IPMS club meeting! In January I have 4 models to take to the year's "Best of the Best" contest, which is the winners of all 8 quarterly contests (4 theme, for non-theme each year). My winners for 2019 are:
Kinetic Su-33 for the "I've got the Blues" October contest theme
Hasegawa F-2A for the "Japanese" July contest theme
Hobby Boss Su-30MKM for the April non-theme contest
ZM F-4S for the January non-theme contest
Not sure how I am going to get those four models AND my January theme contest entry there (never transported that many models before), but I am sure I will come up with something!

Congrats! 👍 👍 You seem to be quite the Michael Schumacher of your IPMS! 😄
And it´s all well deserved, the topics could hardly have been handled better, details are details and certainly help, but it´s the overall picture and scale impression you handle so well that make the show for me in your builds. Looking forward for many more to come!

Really good work and a splendid paint job, as always! It's not easy to make these blues look realistic, but you nailed it!

Thanks Slavo, Murad, Tim, Spanjaard, Demigod, Maciej, and Jim! I appreciate all the compliments and congrats on my win!
I think this has moved into the pantheon of my favorite model I have built, slightly edging out the Su-30MKM. I really love this particular camo scheme and am really proud of how it turned out.

OMG this is a pleasure to see,. I'm currently building an Su-37 but the colours on the Su-33 are just out of this world compared to the brown/sand recommended.
