Reason #1 I’m not happy with Monogram/Revell kits. This could’ve been somewhere else.

Welcome aboard Munky and Thomas.
After looking over the Verlinden set, there are only a few parts I will use. Most of the kit parts for being Revell aren't too bad.

Been pushing on. My first working with PE. A few challenging moments for myself.
Two reasons Monogram/Revell kits are frustrating. #1 Raised lettering on wing surface. #2 Mold release points where there is raise details. Not going to mess with sone it will be difficult to see unless you look up there.

The engine housing panels are very good, the air intake mesh is very clean 👍

Thank you Munky. Up close it doesn't look that great. Good enough for my sanity.

Painted the interior sections using Tamiya XF-22. Details are next on the painting list. Lots of it to get it to look halfway decent.

Update: Fuselage and wings are together now as a whole. Wing connection to fuselage requires a lot of fiddling while gluing. Filler is still required as seen in latest photos. Bomb bay cover has the same issues. Typical of an old Monogram kit. Once I get the wing seams sanded and re-scribed I'll put more up. I did get the clear parts masked up using Eduard EX006 mask set. Photos soon.
