Thank you all so much, the weathering is the most time consuming but rewarding part for me. I think I spend 2/3 of the time on a kit doing the paint and weather.

My rendition of an E-100 "what if" scenario tank, c. 1946. Tank is equipped with 17.5cm main gun and 5cm coaxial automatic cannon, Infrarot and salvaged T-34 auxiliary fuel tanks.
The tank was painted with rattle can primer red then airbrush camo in Gray/green with Sandgrau over portions of the primer red. (Tamiya and Vallejo custom mixes)
Weathering is mostly using sponges and several colors of rust and dark iron, all acrylic. This is sealed with Humbrol matt spray followed by numerous washes and Tamiya panel line marker.
