Breguet Br.19 A2
As is possible to see, kit requires a lot of sanding.
Kit's general arrangement. Note different engines' options.
First step of primer
Some "surgery" was required in order to attach new engine (Venezuelan version was powered with Hispano-Suiza engine"
Improvement the interior with styrene
Seat an interior, made in scratch
Some scratch in order to improve the fuselage interior
As noted, Hispano-Suiza engine option does not match with fuselage; a new "surgery" is required
Fortunately, styrene sheet "V-groove" match with the fuselage exterior.........
Here, with adapted engine....
As you will see at next picture; provided wheels are very difficult to clean-up due to excess of plastic. I decided to make my own wheels, using little pieces of wire and put the together .....
Here provided wheels; as indicated before, excess of plastic is very difficult to clean.
cutting wheels' "two faces" and making a "sandwich" with the wire's arrangement ............
Here the final results; cutting excess of wire, covering the area with putty and sanding
Now, masking the tires in order to paint the wheels itself with dark green
Here, final results...
As no pin or any reference to install the wing, I used these jigs..
General view with upper wing
Installing wheels and supports. Prop was painted in oil colors in order to simulate wood.
Here the armament; double Lewis installation; very nice improvement
Lower attachements
the lower surface of upper wing came very "flat"; without any sign of visible structure typical of that age. I decide to simulate the ribs using styrene strips
Installing decals.......
Armament kit
Here, the kit with painted Lewis .....
those supports provided by the kit are very short; I decided to make them..........
I added some improvement regarding prop's attachments

Brave choice and incredible perseverance. I have the same kit and it's hard to believe it can be built so nicely.
Will use your pics as a reference once I'm going to get courageous enough to start it 😄

Oh my! I second Lukasz's comment: I also have this kit in my stash, but by the time I would have the skills to deal with it (in some decades...) I'm sure a new kit would have appeared! You did a wonderful job, congratulations! 👍 👍

thanks a lot for you comments; certainly, it is a very difficult kit with no too much references in the web for improvements...

The photos of the finished piece are too dark to see all your work. I'd love to see this plane in the same light as your construction photos.
