Thank you....no aftermarket parts at all. Just used whatever was in the box.
Other than a bit of sanding on each piece after cutting from sprue, all the parts fit pretty well. No putty/filler used either!
Any gaps, misalignment is because of my cackhandedness! 🙂
Some hand painting required on landing gear and some minor bits and then over to the dreaded decals.

Love this, a great build of my favourite plane of all time. Hey! Let's build a plane and out a big gun in it; no my boy...lets build a big gun and wrap an airplane around it...

Nice model, well done! 👍
A quick question though: why are the Mavericks black?

Thanks guys,
As to why the Mavericks are black......I followed the guide which said X-1 referring to the tips and tails and didn't notice the X-2 right next to it referring to the missile body.....by the time I noticed the mistake, it was too late.
It's my first aircraft build and 3rd model build and I have a steep learning curve.
The first two were cars which were ok as I'm still getting used to the process.

Oh, I see. Oopsies happen, even to the most experienced model makers. But I am sure you learned a lot in this build and your next model will be much better! 👍
