After much back-and-forth, I decided not to buy any new paints and instead decided to use what I had on hand, which happened to be Tamiya Flat Aluminium

Finished!!!! I went for a more beat-up look, as the real aircraft was heavily worn when it was photographed; in fact I probably didn't weather it enough in comparison with the photo!
