I like the way your Stug turned out. The tarpaulins I find a little too shiny and textureless. That is often the issue with those resin add-ons. Tissue paper does have texture and is so much cheaper.

I agree with Oliver. A coat of matte varnish on the "textiles" would make this build perfect.

Can I ask how you thought of the tracks? Nice build but better without cover

Hi Paul, the tracks come on sprues and they require some cleaning, I think there are better options now with 3D printed tracks from different companies, or metal ones from fruilmodel or easylinks, if I need and ostketten set of tracks I think I would choose fruilmodel. Check out Panzermeister36 on YouTube he has 2 video reviews of different resin tracks brands. Youtube Video

Ciao Alberto, li ho già visti! They are both very good. It is just that these Richii are very cheap - the others not!
I just add - I thought the ostketten are only 1944 so this vehicle is too early?

Sure Paul, if you don't mind taking some time to clean the tracks they're an excellent option.
Ostketten tracks were used on the Eastern Front from 1943 through 1945, most notably on tanks like the Panzer III, Panzer IV, and the Stug III. So there's the possibility this was a real find.
About the resin cover, yes it looks real bad 😄 one day I need to fix that as Olivier and Neuling suggested.

Do not worry about the cover comment. We are all learning - especially me! I think your kit and tracks are awesome - maybe like me you can start to use putty to make cover - rolling pin, talc + your skill = excellent cover!

I always like to hear suggestions, critique, opinions, feedback, etc. I think it is a great way to get better. One day I need to practice that putty technique you mentioned.
