Very good diorama. Careful paint work on everything. And you achieved to show many interesting details without a cramped look. 👍
Album info
Now, actually about the M163 Vulcan model itself, it is an old development from Academy, designed in new packaging.
The manufacturer uses gates with already produced sets from other versions of M113, on the basis of which M163 was created. There are a lot of runners who are not in demand in this set. But with the options of belonging alas - the manufacturer offers only 1 country (USA) and 3 color options (2 for the US Army and 1 for the US Army in Germany), respectively, there are very few decals.
I chose the M163 option for the Israeli Defense Forces as a model - the differences with the "American" prototype are minimal. It was necessary to complete the exhaust pipe, side shelves and leer.
It is very strange that the manufacturer did not use its own Zelda set for the basis - no improvements would be required there...
The set is quite good, shedding the minimum.
The interior in this version is not represented.
Caterpillars are given in two versions - vinyl and plastic sets.
The exhaust pipe was made from a juice tube, the cover of the silencer is beer tin.
Leera made of plastic of suitable size.
Side shelves - used from a set, reducing their height.
It is better to assemble the combat module after painting it - otherwise it is very difficult to paint the inside.
Body kit (backpacks, slips, etc.) - parts included in the kit.
Color - paint Mr. Kolor (with yellow inscription) for IDF.
Tactical numbers - painted using stencils.
Tinting - AMMO MIG liquids, AK pencils, MCP pigments, Zip maket
Foam support, soil imitation and grass - texture paste from Zip maket.
Concrete blocks - cast gypsum molded from Meng.
Newspapers, boxes - from supplies.
This is the result. Ready for criticism, comments, etc.
