Discs are 1:1 Metallic Grey and Titanium Silver (both Tamiya) with a hint of Mr Color Levelling thinners. I'm extremely happy with how they came out!

Construction has really started to get towards the pointy end now! Sure I have a lot of slow fiddle bits to go, and the bodywork to paint, but getting there!

The roll hoop on the 1/20 was a pain in the ass ( if you look at the pic on the manual, the Tamiya builder appears to have used tape to try and eliminate the seam of the 2 pieces), hopefully the big scale one is easier to work with.

Nah both the roll hoops sucked. I made the best of it, and because I've painted it black it's still not super good looking but "close".

The body fits reasonably well, and in the pic I have only got the pieces just sitting in place. I have been painting the body with Tamiya TS cans.

I did some weathering/highlighting of detailing with a wash for the time yesterday. I like the result, mildly different to the Mr Hobby Weathering Finish I'd used elsewhere. It's a cool thing to challenge myself with improving my build practice.
