Fieseler Fi 156C Storch
On skis, from the Eastern Front.
My first go with using oil paints for weathering. Overdid it [as is my wont] but a great learning experience for future projects.
It's a wonderful kit - a re-box of the old Hasegawa. Fantastic fit [apart from the small sections under the canopy].
Left the engine cowlings open, painted and weather a 1:35 scale oil drum [naughty naughty] to lean them against.
Eduard photoetch cockpit details. Montex mask for the canopy and markings [I was given the old kit and there were no decals].
