My wife had a grand-uncle who was stationed on Crete in a guards batallion during the war. He someday went missing
and was never found even though they tried everything even years after the war.
It was a little of a tragedy for the family because he was meant to take over the family farm. Picture number one was the
last one they got from him, so I try to recapture a little bit here.
