Construction begun on the turret
Hit a speed bump on the mantlet dust cover- bottom portion not as wide as upper piece. Putty needed to make up the size difference. Letting that dry before filing in fold contours.

Simon, I still need to improve my figure painting work. I'm content with the uniforms, but my work on faces, and especially eyes, needs improvement.
Neuling, I appreciate your confidence in this project's outcome. I always hit that point where I wonder if they will turn out as envisioned or not…
