Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger I
Kit with the Friulmodel tracks that I did not end up using, as I used the kit tracks instead. Did not feel that the kit was worth the Friulmodel tracks.
Early stages of completion.
I attempt to build two kits at the same time, one in 1/35 scale and the other in TooN scale. The TooN scale is to be the test bed.
Never sure if the Tamiya 1/35 is the real deal or the Meng TooN is. Sometimes the paint mule becomes the best copy.
Bench was cleaned up for the photo shoot, it never looks this good!!
Some of the supplies that were used. Books by Michael Rinaldi, TankArt Nr.1 and Adam Wilder, Adam's Armour 1 & 2 great help.
Will have to work on the sage after the drive hub, will drop it down more.
Drilled holes in the side wall, used wire to hold down the rubber band tracks. Weathered over the wire to cover up them.
Friulmodel tracks that were not use, will save them for the next Tiger or Sturmtiger.

Good Morning, Gentlemen Thanks for looking. Had some wins & losses on this kit. For me, my evolution of craft is still in the early stages, but am happy with the progress. Catch Ya, Logan

Album info
Tiger I in an urban area, not historically correct, just interesting to test finishes on a German Grey tank with more building dust on the tracks and lower hull. Attempted to lightly weather the Tiger as it was not overly used in a rural battle but still had engaged the enemy and had suffered some damage.
