Stretching my long neglected high school French to the limit here. The Revell kit is also not bad?

Lots of decals, but nothing too crazy. Lovely little Tamiya kit as always. Just some details to finish up and this one will be wrapped up!

She's looking the part! Any specific reason why you glued the headlights before painting?

Martin, the headlights have a ring molded on where it attaches to the body, and that ring is body color. 🤦🏻♂️ An unusually poor piece of engineering by Tamiya that I feel could have been avoided. You can see the seam on the orange part behind the clear part of the lens, which I didn't fill because it also seems to be visible on the real car.

Decals all done, excepting the Porsche on the rear taillight assembly. Coming together now. Bumpers and moldings painted…waiting on those to dry so I don't get finger prints in my black. I hate that they're molded in but oh well. Did an ok job painting them. Just have to attach some small details and a couple decals on parts not yet stuck on (taillight glass) and this one will be complete.

Not my most favorite Tamiya kit Martin. Fit and finish is ok and shapes are all good, as you'd expect, but little detail and odd design for sure does not make it very user friendly. Finish line is in sight though!!

And this one crosses the finish line. Not the best Tamiya kit in the west but luckily I didn't pay much for it and it resembles what it should, so it can happily occupy a spot on my shelf! Thanks for looking.

Nonetheless, you did a nice enough job for me to put it on my wish list 👍

Nicely done kyle. I love the contrast of the gold wheel rims against that orange body. Very cool 👍

Martin, thank you. And it's really not a bad kit at all, just a little odd and not my favorite. Still builds up nice with a little patience!
And thank you James! Happy with how those wheels turned out myself. Definitely a striking livery on this car!

I started this whilst building airplanes and waiting for paint and glue to dry. I like to keep the bench active. I love these little Tamiya kits as slumpbusters or when I just want to crank something out. So simple but they always turn out great.
