Nothing like setting the kit on the cotton pad soaked in lacquer thinner used to clean my airbrush. I would do this in the final stages of the build. Unforced errors.

Time to change up and go back to my childhood watching my brother build an entire armada of Japanese ships. Built OOB with the goal to work on my weathering skills. No rigging yet - have to get psychologically prepared for that. All in all a nice build - especially for the money. Purchased this kit at the 2019 NPMS Nationals in Chattanooga from the late, great Georgia-based FreeTime Hobbies before they sold out and moved to NC.
