@ Bozzer, great friend you are indeed ..your friend's resin kit will most certainly look more realistic than my kit bash version (but I just had to try this , I may have to build two ..I always build in two's lol)

@Bozzer are you referring to the green "Mack"...with Earth on the door from "the Road Warrior"? or Furiousa's War rig from "Fury Road" ...there is a War Rig(listed as in progress) and a couple of buzzard vehicles album/pic's in Projects (topic) Mad Max . I've a Mack 600dm (old build 2016) but its left hand drive and the cab is offset .. right hand drive conversion a bit of a challenge , I've certainly thought about this ..it too is a possible future project as I like to build things others are not 👀

I'd have to check to confirm, but I'm sure that Auslowe do a right hand drive conversion, for the DM? I'm certainly pretty sure that I've seen one. I was actually thinking about The Road Warrior. There's currently a resin version of the War Rig, available now. Like you, I try to be creative and replicate in plastic, however some of the resin stuff available, these days, is just too good, to not take notice of. 🙂

ahh , That's a Big 10-4 there guys ...looks like a tanker (not the air to air type ,lol) " ..is needed in my future "Earth" it is then .. and definitely I'll uses white glue on the windshield ,so to avoid the the windshield blues when I built the Mack dm ..I didn't screw that one up ,

@ Bozzer , would AMT 's kit #1039 ..a Mack R685ST (600 series) be suitable for that build ...."I'll drive that tanker"

@Mona. Absolutely! The DM has an offset cab, however the R685ST is perfect for what you suggest. I happen to have a thing for the R model, and I have several of those kits. If you need any heads up's or pointers, just give me a shout? Happy to help

I had forgot how enjoyable that movie was , its was a favorite of my best friend ...watched it many times in my youth and again today...was that a Brockway or Diamond REO that Spider Mike drove ? I still have my 23 ch CB , still functions too, although outdated an I believe "illegal"..to use

@Mona. Spider Mike drove a Diamond T. There's actually a resin cast cab of it (ask me how I know? 🙂 ) I was all over the CB back in the day, on FM and then later on Mid Band. Crazy times and very much fun. Widow Woman had a Brockway, and I'm pretty sure that there's a resin cast cab for that too? Currently, A.I.T.M. moulds are in the hands of Doug Wagner, the owner of Keystone Aluminium miniature models. For some reason, his website is down? I'm guessing it's to update it, but I'm sure that someone will correct me? I believe that you can email Doug with any requests and he'll get back to you though? Some pretty stuff out there, especially the Mack B model. Ya got Wicked Willy comin' back at ya, and down on the side.
